The cardigan is knitted bottom-up. Body and sleeves are knitted in the round separately up to the armholes and then joined on a circular needle where the yoke is knitted in the round according to the chart. Steek stitches are knitted at the front center, which are later secured with machine stitching before the cardigan is cut open.
