Knit Sierra Sweater – a warm Icelandic wool sweater with a beautifully patterned yoke. The kit contains Álafosslopi from Ístex in the quantities needed for your chosen size and women’s or men’s version.
Sierra carries a little piece of northern Norway. Its name comes from Nedre Sierra on the Alta River, one of designer Christina’s favourite fishing spots. A sweater to pull on for cold days, woodland walks and those moments when you want to stay outdoors a little longer.
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up with a round yoke and a simple colourwork chart. A lovely project even if you are knitting your first Icelandic sweater.
