Ístex is the Icelandic manufacturer behind the Lopi yarns. The company buys wool directly from Icelandic sheep farmers and processes about 99 percent of all wool produced in Iceland. Icelandic wool is appreciated for its low weight, warmth, and natural ability to resist moisture.
