Álafosslopi is a classic Icelandic wool yarn made from 100% Icelandic wool. The yarn is coarser than Léttlopi and is suitable for warm, durable garments with the characteristic feel of Icelandic wool. Thanks to the natural properties of the wool, the garments breathe while providing excellent warmth.
Álafosslopi is used for many classic Icelandic knitting patterns and is particularly suitable for sweaters, cardigans, hats, and mittens.
