Ættarmót is an Icelandic cardigan knitted in Léttlopi. The cardigan consists of two individually patterned halves with varied multi-color motifs across the body, sleeves, and yoke.
The inspiration comes from a family reunion where different families gather in a mix of unity, distance, and chaos. The cardigan halves are knitted separately, cut open, and joined at the back, while the crocheted edges and mixed buttons enhance its unique expression.
