Bláregn is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for a classic Icelandic sweater with a round yoke and multi-coloured pattern. The pattern is knitted in Plötulopi and Einband held together and is suitable for those who appreciate timeless Icelandic design.
The name Bláregn means wisteria and refers to the neighbour's house with its beautiful wisteria – when the clusters of purple flowers make your thoughts linger. The sweater is knitted bottom-up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately and then joined to form a round yoke. The sweater has a slightly A-shaped silhouette.
