Bláregn - open is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for a classic Icelandic cardigan with a multi-coloured pattern. The pattern is knitted with Plötulopi and Einband together and is suitable for those who appreciate timeless Icelandic design.
The name Bláregn means wisteria and refers to the neighbouring house with the beautiful wisteria – when the clusters of purple flowers make your thoughts linger. The cardigan is knitted bottom-up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately and then joined to form a yoke before the cardigan is cut open at the front.

15 sts × 20 rows in stockinette stitch with 5.5 mm needles and 1 strand of Plötulopi and 1 strand of Einband held together.
