Pattern

Blomning is a knitting pattern for a warm balaclava with a generous hood and high neck collar. The multicoloured floral pattern gives the design a decorative touch, and the knitted drawstring allows the opening around the face to be adjusted.

The balaclava is knitted top-down in the round using circular needles with one strand of wool yarn and one strand of Fin Mohair Silk held together. The neck collar is knitted in the round and finished with a rib. Feel free to match it with the slipover from the same series.
