ChiaoGoo Silver SWIV360 cable – Small

ChiaoGoo Silver SWIV360 combines a flexible, nylon-coated steel cable with rotating connectors. This allows the needle tips to swivel freely without the cable needing to move with them.

The cable is available in several lengths and is used with ChiaoGoo's interchangeable needle tips with S-connectors.

💡 Good to know

The cable is used directly with needle tips that have an S-connector, typically sizes 2.75–5 mm. It is compatible with ChiaoGoo's TWIST, SPIN, Forté, and QUADS series when the needle tip has the correct connector size.

MINI and L-sized needle tips do not fit directly. An L-connector needle tip can be used with the cable if you add an L-to-S adapter.

The cable's connectors have lifeline holes. By threading a thin thread through the hole, you can insert a lifeline through the stitches while you knit. If the work later needs to be unravelled, you can stop at the lifeline without risking losing stitches. This is particularly practical for lace knitting and other more advanced patterns.

The lifeline hole is also used with a cable key when the needle tips are to be securely tightened.

The specified length refers to the cable itself. The length of the needle tips is added and affects the total length of the finished circular needle.
