Pattern

The skirt is knitted top-down with a dropped waist. First, a waistband is knitted for the elastic. Then, short rows are worked on the back, and the top part of the skirt is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch. Afterwards, a lace pattern is worked according to a chart, which increases the stitch count and gives the bottom part of the skirt more volume. The garment is finished with a folded hem that is sewn down.
