Pattern

Fletir is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for an Icelandic sweater with color blocks and a slit. The pattern is knitted with Plötulopi and Einband, resulting in a light and airy garment with soft color transitions.

The design is inspired by beautiful jasper stones on the beach, the iron-red stream bed, and the tall green grass by the sea. The open rib edges give the sweater a soft drape and enhance its relaxed feel.

    Plötulopi – 100% Icelandic wool (100 g = approx. 300 m)

    Einband – 100% Icelandic wool (50 g = approx. 250 m)

    GAUGE (10 × 10 cm)

    12 sts × 17 rows in stockinette stitch with1 strand Plötulopi + 1 strand Einbandon 8 mm needles.

    If the gauge is not correct, the garment may have incorrect measurements. Change to thinner or thicker needles until the gauge is correct.
