Pattern

My dear cousin Frida asked me a while ago if I would like to design a sock pattern for her, and I wanted to create something that was both beautiful and interesting to knit. The result was this lace pattern with roses on the top of the foot, framed by cables on the sides and broken ribbing on the underside.

The sock is knitted toe-up with a heel flap and can be knitted using both the Magic Loop technique and double-pointed needles. The pattern is written for one size with instructions for adapting to different foot lengths. I hope you enjoy knitting them!

Designer: Annelie Verbrugge
