Pattern

Hind is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for an Icelandic cardigan with a round yoke and classic multi-color pattern. The pattern is knitted in Léttlopi and finished with buttons at the front.

The cardigan is knitted in the round with steeks at the center front before being cut open and crocheted button bands are worked. This construction provides an even and beautiful pattern across the entire yoke, while the finished cardigan has a classic Icelandic feel.

    GAUGE (10 × 10 cm)

    18 stitches × 24 rows in stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles.

    Check your gauge carefully. If you knit too tightly, switch to larger needles. If you knit too loosely, switch to smaller needles. If your gauge is incorrect, the garment will not have the correct measurements.
