Pattern

Hlýjar minningar is a colourful Icelandic cardigan knitted with Plötulopi and Einband held together. The cardigan features soft colour changes, textured stripes, and crocheted button bands.

The pattern is inspired by a summer night where the sun sets during the sail home after an unforgettable day, while the guitar plays and people sing. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round from the bottom up and joined to form a yoke before the cardigan is cut open at the front.
