Pattern

Jörð is a knitting pattern for a thoroughly fair-isle knitted Icelandic sweater in Léttlopi. The colours of the earth, the circle of the sun and the eight-pointed star create an expressive pattern. The sweater can be knitted in a multi-coloured or blue colourway.

The body is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The sleeves are knitted in the round and then sewn into the steeked armholes. The high ribbed collar gives the sweater a warm and snug finish. Since the entire sweater is fair-isle knitted, a size larger is recommended for a looser fit.
