Leysingar is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for an Icelandic cardigan using the intarsia technique. The pattern is knitted with Álafosslopi and Léttlopi and is suitable for those who want to knit a warm cardigan with a powerful camouflage pattern.
The pattern is inspired by glacier rivers, mudflats, and moss that blend into the Icelandic landscape. The large-scale three-color camouflage pattern gives the cardigan an expression of strength and warmth on chilly spring days.
