Gleði is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for a long Icelandic cardigan. The pattern is knitted in Plötulopi and is suitable for those who appreciate timeless Icelandic design.
The name Gleði means happiness in Icelandic. The cardigan is the feminine version of the pattern Kátir karlar (Happy Men). Soft decreases and increases, along with a beautifully knitted lining in single-strand Plötulopi, give the garment its character.
Designer: Védís Jónsdóttir
📖 The pattern is also available in the pattern booklet Lopi Favorites from Iceland.
