Older from Dale Garn is a single-ply yarn in 100% pure wool with a rustic feel and clear stitch definition. The yarn is untreated, which preserves the natural properties of the wool and results in warm, durable garments with good breathability.
Older is particularly suitable for sweaters, cardigans, jackets, vests, and other garments where you want a full and clear stitch pattern. The yarn works equally well for knitting and crocheting and is also an excellent choice for felted projects such as slippers, seat pads, and mittens.

💡 Good to know
Older is an excellent yarn for felting items such as slippers, seat pads, and mittens. Bleached white yarn, however, cannot be felted. Natural white yarn, which is unbleached, can be felted.
The clear stitch definition also makes the yarn particularly suitable for textured knitting, cables, and fair isle knitting where you want the pattern to stand out clearly.
