Opal Hand Dyed – 4-ply sock yarn

Opal Hand Dyed is a collection featuring four hand-dyed colourways on Opal’s classic 4-ply sock yarn base. The hand-dyeing creates variations and shifting shades throughout the yarn.

The yarn is primarily intended for socks but is also suitable for lightweight sweaters, shawls, hats, mittens and other accessories. One skein is normally enough for one pair of adult socks.

Care instructions

• Machine wash at 40°C
• Do not use fabric softener
• Dry flat

The distribution of the colours may vary slightly between skeins and dye lots. For larger projects, alternate between two skeins to create smoother colour transitions.
