The Rova Sweater is a great combination of two cultures: Sami and Finnish.
The design on the yoke is inspired by Sami woven bands, and the name is from Finland. Some believe that Santa Claus is from Rovaniemi, and since the sweater has a Christmas look to it, the name just had to be Rova.
Finnish “o” is pronounced like a Norwegian “å”, so the correct name is Råva Sweater. I know, it's not easy to say it correctly.
