Saga án fléttu is a digital knitting pattern from Ístex for an Icelandic sweater. The pattern is knitted in Álafosslopi and Léttlopi and is suitable for those who appreciate timeless Icelandic design.
The inspiration for the sweater comes from a powerful saga, but when the ending came, the conclusion felt better left unwritten. The sweater is knitted with the same color in Léttlopi and Álafosslopi.

Álafosslopi – 100% Icelandic wool (100 g = approx. 100 m)
Léttlopi – 100% Icelandic wool (50 g = approx. 100 m)
GAUGE (10 × 10 cm)
Álafosslopi: 12 sts × 16 rows in stockinette stitch on 8 mm needles.
Léttlopi: 18 sts × 24 rows in stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles.
If the gauge is not correct, the garment may have incorrect measurements. Change to thinner or thicker needles until the gauge is correct.
