Pattern

The sweater is inspired by the traditional "lusen" or Fair Isle sweaters. These often have a simple body with Fair Isle patterns and a more detailed pattern on the shoulder and chest area. This sweater relates to this by combining the "lusen" with other well-known motifs such as eight-petal roses and "pine/spruce branches" with a smooth transition from the Fair Isle pattern to a detailed pattern on the shoulders. The sweater has a modified raglan shape, where decreases are only made on the sleeves, so that the shoulders get a characteristic width that corresponds to more traditionally set-in sleeves.
