Pattern

Systur og bræður is a knitting pattern for an Icelandic children's cardigan and a matching hat in Léttlopi. The cardigan is available in a black and a yellow color scheme, while the hat is knitted in the same colors as the yellow cardigan.

The pattern is inspired by photographs of sisters in beautiful knitted garments that were later passed down, as well as by a little boy dressed in black and a girl with golden red hair. The cardigan is knitted in the round from the bottom up and cut open at the front, while the hat is knitted in the round.
