Collection: Istex - All Yarns

Wool has been spun in Mosfellsbær, Iceland, since the late 19th century, formerly under the name Álafoss of Iceland. In 1991, Istex (Icelandic Textile Industry) began operations and took over wool processing. Since then, the business has expanded significantly. Today, the organization purchases wool from all over Iceland, which is then transformed into world-renowned yarns such as Álafosslopi, Léttlopi, and Plötulopi.
