Pattern

Nordic simplicity for chilly days. This sweater is knitted top-down with minimal assembly. First, a turtleneck collar is knitted, and then the shoulders are knitted onto it. Stitches are picked up along these to knit the back first, then the front, before they are joined and the body is knitted in the round with ribbing as a finish. Then, stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are knitted top-down with ribbing as a finish. The sweater uses Italian cast-on and bind-off, but a regular cast-on and bind-off can also be used.
