Nordic simplicity for chilly days. This sweater is knitted top-down with minimal assembly. First, a turtleneck collar is knitted, and then the shoulders are knitted from it. Stitches are picked up along these to knit the back piece first and then the front piece before they are joined and the body is knitted in the round, ending with ribbing. Then, stitches are picked up along the armholes, and the sleeves are knitted top-down, ending with ribbing. The sweater uses Italian cast-on and bind-off, but a regular cast-on and bind-off can also be used.
